Dance Drama "The Minotaur and Theseus"
After the meal, fruit, deserts and raki are offered to guests and the performance is highlighted by a dance drama inspired by the most known myth of “The Minotaur and Theseus”.
The groups of boys and girls mingle with guests unraveling the thread that symbolizes the labyrinth. A labyrinthine dance starts, Theseus takes the ball of thread from Ariadne, he enters the Labyrinth and kills the Minotaur. They leave Crete in a circular merry dance. The myth symbolizes the change of the Minoan world and the Mycenaean rule in Crete.
